Moscow has quite a lot tourist destinations.

Starting at the truly fascinating place Red Square and rushing to the Kremlin that is complex for visitors, full of churches, museums and it´s also the seat of the Russian government and the president. When you decide to walk, make sure not to miss the skyscraper "Seven Sisters". The pride of Moscow could be palaces as Tsaritsino - the former royal estate of Catherine the Great with the posh park or Kuskovo Estate including three parks.

Tip for sightseeing

Red Square
Was first mentioned at the end of 15th century with the first name Trade Square ("Torgovaya"). Today´s Red Square used to be alloted for a market, is the heart and the symbol of Russia together with St. Basil’s Cathedral.
Location: Red Square, Moscow

St. Basil’s Cathedral
In the middle of the Red Square is an architecture masterpiece - the St. Basil’s Cathedral. St Basil’s was and still is an unusual cathedral: the architects construct 8 small churches around the main dome and made the paths from one church to another. A chaotic mix of architecture and colors has in fact about 200 years old renovation epoch. The Basil was named of a saint who was close to Ivan the Terrible tsar - Basil.
Location: Red Square, Moscow

GUM
It was the biggest store in Russia before the revolution, and the most popular after. GUM (Glavny Universalny Magazin) is the abbreviation for a State Deparment Store. GUM is not only an architectural masterpiece, it has an elegant interior, comprising three parallel arcades, a fontain and a glass roof transmitting daylight. When you have some time left on your business trip to Moscow and it’s a rainy day, I would suggest GUM, you will find many souvenirs stands, boutiques, foreign stores in roomy arcades.
